PSYCH-K® - Subconscious Belief Change

PSYCH-K® is a set of processes to support subconscious belief change. Up to 95% of what we do each day is the outcome of our subconscious beliefs, rather than our conscious choices. One of the reasons that traditional coaching is unsuccessful in making lasting change is the focus on conscious beliefs and processing, rather than engaging at the subconscious level/ engaging consciousness.

 

PSYCH-K® processes allow you to work with your subconscious mind, introducing new beliefs/ goals at the subconscious level, via a whole-brain state.

What happens in a PSYCH-K® session?

I facilitate PSYCH-K® sessions. In these sessions, I work with you on an area where you are seeking change in your life. Once we identify how you want this area to change, I then facilitate processes with you which encourage a ‘whole-brain state’ and enable you to engage your subconscious with the new reality you want to create. These processes support the removal of energy blockages, new flows of energy within you, and the establishment of new beliefs within your subconscious mind.

 

The PSYCH-K® processes utilise “muscle-testing” which enables clear communication with your subconscious. For online sessions, I can muscle-test on your behalf and communicate the results to you during the session. If you are unfamiliar with muscle-testing, it utilises our muscle-response (any muscle, but often arm, finger, eyelid muscles are good muscles to test)  to consciously held statements. Our subconscious processing impacts the muscle tension, providing a clear “yes/no” or “like/dislike” response.

 

Often the PSYCH-K® processes can lead to emotional, mental, physical responses which indicate the change in subconscious beliefs that is sought. Even if no obvious response, the processes result in a “whole-brain state” supportive of change.

How many PSYCH-K® sessions do I need to take?

It depends on what you want to achieve through the sessions and how many areas of change you want to explore.

 

A specific change in one area of your life can potentially be achieved in one session. The nature of PSYCH-K® is that it works with your subconscious mind. If a targeted goal is identified and balanced for in a session, this can support the change you are looking to achieve.

 

However, I generally I recommend a small number of sessions (approximately 4 to 6)  to focus on one area of change in your life. This allows us to monitor your progress in subsequent sessions, and if required we can come at the topic from another angle and/ or reinforce the change you are seeking with related supportive beliefs/ goals. Sometimes it can be helpful to work on a number of related goals/ layers of subconscious belief to facilitate the desired change. Nevertheless, the aim is always to keep the process as simple and efficient as possible.

 

Where an individual is very keen to go deeper with PSYCH-K®, and desires to work on more than one area of change e.g. focusing on a combination of areas such as relationships, wellbeing, work, purpose, and/ or spirituality etc., it can be useful to commit to a set of 12 sessions. A simple rule of thumb is that 4 PSYCH-K® sessions could aim to cover 2-4 core changes in one area you want to work on. Hence through 12 sessions, you could aim to support 2-4 core changes in three areas of your life.

 

Keep in mind that we are all different, and some changes may take more time for one person than for another.

Does PSYCH-K® work alongside life coaching, or is it best kept separate?

Some people simply want to work with PSYCH-K®, and this certainly works very well for a lot of people. Where this is the case, we keep purely to PSYCH-K® processes and frameworks during each session. Often people who want to focus on PSYCH-K® have familiarity with it prior to contacting me, and are simply looking for a skilled facilitator, such as myself, to work with.

 

However, my core offering is one-to-one life coaching that would generally not incorporate PSYCH-K®. If I do feel PSYCH-K® would benefit a client at some point, I would offer this. Also, if in the course of one-to-one life coaching, you would like to see if PSYCH-K® would be of benefit, we can discuss and agree to do so.
